1. Service Description

TaxJeje provides tax compliance software for Nigerian freelancers, remote workers, and self-employed individuals. Our services include:

• Income and expense tracking
• Tax calculation and estimation
• Tax report generation (PDF)
• Filing deadline reminders
• Multi-currency support with exchange rate conversion

TaxJeje is a software tool designed to help you organize and calculate your tax obligations. We do not file taxes on your behalf or provide personalized tax advice.

2. Subscription Terms and Pricing

Free Plan

• 5 income entries per year
• 10 expense entries per year
• Basic tax calculations
• Tax deadline reminders

Basic Plan (₦10,000/year)

• Unlimited income and expense entries
• 10 PDF reports per month
• 5 data exports per month
• All tax deduction categories

Pro Plan (₦25,000/year)

• Everything in Basic
• Unlimited PDF reports and exports
• CSV import for bulk data
• Multi-year tax analysis
• Priority support

All prices are in Nigerian Naira (NGN). Subscriptions are billed annually.

3. User Responsibilities

By using TaxJeje, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Keep your account credentials secure
• Not share your account with others
• Use the service only for lawful purposes
• Maintain accurate financial records
• Verify all calculations and reports before filing with tax authorities
• Not attempt to manipulate or abuse the service

4. Tax Disclaimer

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of the data you enter
• Verifying all tax calculations before filing
• Consulting with a qualified tax professional for complex situations
• Filing your taxes correctly and on time with FIRS
• Paying any taxes owed to the appropriate authorities

We strongly recommend consulting with a certified tax professional, especially for complex tax situations or significant financial decisions.

5. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through Paystack, Nigeria's leading payment processor. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable subscription fee
• Automatic renewal at the end of each billing period
• Payment in Nigerian Naira (NGN) via card or bank transfer
• Provide valid payment information

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, you will have a 7-day grace period to update your payment method. After the grace period, your account will be downgraded to the Free plan.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• You will retain access to paid features until the period ends
• Your data will be retained and accessible on the Free plan

Refunds

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. After 14 days, refunds are provided at our discretion for:

• Service outages exceeding 48 hours
• Billing errors
• Other exceptional circumstances

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law:

• TaxJeje is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of tax calculations or compliance with tax laws
• We are not liable for any penalties, fines, or damages resulting from errors in your tax filings
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim
• We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

8. Intellectual Property

TaxJeje and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Fattah Labs Ltd and are protected by Nigerian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of your data. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely for providing the service.

9. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse or misuse the service
• Fail to pay subscription fees after the grace period

Upon termination, you will have 30 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
